2019 SOGA’s Polar Plunge Fundraiser!

Holy cow! I’ve never done a Polar Plunge and what better way and time to do it for the 1st time by raising money for the Special Olympics Georgia!

On February 23rd I’m going to take the plunge and jump into icy waters in the middle of winter to show support and raise awareness for the Special Olympics Georgia athletes! I’ve never been to Acworth Beach so this will not only be my 1st time visiting but my 1st time diving in from head to toe lol

You might be asking yourself…what is a Polar Plunge?! A polar plunge is an event held purposely during the winter where participants jump into water (despite the low temperature) to raise money for a charitable organizations.

It is SOGA’s (Special Olympics Georgia) largest fundraising event to raise money to help provide FREE year round sports training and competition for SOGA’s 26,640 athletes!

I’ve got less than 30 days and my personal goal is to raise $400! Please take the time to donate and let’s send our athletes to State Games!! Click here to donate!
