Lori Loughlin Turns Herself In Over College Admission Scandal

The FBI confirmed that Fuller House star Lori Loughlin has surrendered on Wednesday over her alleged involvement with the college entrance exam scandal.

According to E! News, court documents show that Loughlin and Desperate Wives star Felicity Huffman have been charged with conspiracy to commit mail fraud and honest services mail fraud. The actresses, as well as 40 other people, have also been charged.

The FBI affidavit showed that the scheme involved bribing college entrance exam administrators and college coaches to get their children into universities such as Georgetown, UCLA, USC, Stanford, University of San Diego, the University of Texas at Austin, Wake Forest and Yale. Some parents allegedly paid anywhere from $200,000 to $6.5 million to get their kids into these schools.

E! News reported that Loughlin will be booked at the Metropolitan Detention Center as she waits for court and Huffman has been granted a signature bond of $250,000 with the promise that she returns to court.
