Saturday Night Live’s season finale brought DJ Khaled to the stage on May 18 with a star studded entourage to perform medleys of new music from his newly released album, Father of Asahd.

“They said I’d never do SNL, so I’m doing [the] SNL finale!” Khaled stated before his popular and trademark intro: “Another one.” For his first turn on stage, Khaled brought out Lil Wayne and Big Sean for “Jealous.”

“Jealous” shifted straight to a recent fan favorite “You Stay,” which brought out Jeremih, Meek Mill, Lil Baby and J Balvin under a purple spotlight. Once each rapper had wrapped their verse, Khaled addressed the crowd and the cameras with a simple send-off: “Summer starts now.”

For the second set later in the show, Khaled switched up his button up shirt to a hoodie with Nipsey Hussle’s face on it, who was a friend and collaborator with Khaled. Nipsey passed away early this year. Before passing he collaborated on a song with DJ Khaled.

This next set started with SZA  and Khaled. Khaled, who was joined later on stage with Meek Mill and John Legend. They performed a medley of “Just Us,” “Weather the Storm” and “Higher.”  The performance ended with each special guests joining back on stage and DJ Khaled giving a shout out to Nipsey Hussle.
