Bert had been waiting on this call – not one that he wants – for years and years. And it finally came. His mom has stage 5 Alzheimer’s…and he didn’t know what to do about it.
He finally came to a decision, and this past weekend, Bert took a major step forward toward peace with his mom this past weekend.
it is not my responsibility to continue to pursue trying to give my mother closure before she isn’t lucid anymore. I reached out. If I hear nothing then I’m at peace with her decision. Closure for her might mean no closure at all.
