No. 6 Collaborations Project is Sheeran’s third album to hit No. 1 on the Billboard 200 chart, and honestly no one is surprised. He previously dominated the charts in 2017 with album Divide and in 2014 with the album Multiply. The new album has an absolute fire track list with each song tailored to the vibe of each of the featured artists.

The album features Sheeran on each track and includes some major bops with music industry power houses like Cardi B, Camila Cabello, 50 Cent, Khalid, Bruno Mars, Justin Bieber and so many more.

50 Cent shared to his Insta on Friday with the news of his track with Sheeran and Eminem trending chart number one.

I kinda knew this was gonna happen, but ok guys. Let’s turn up, it’s lit 🔥🍾#lecheminduroi 🥃#bransoncognac

Who ever thought Sheeran would be on the same track with Eminem and 50 Cent? The song legit left us shook to our core and we are so here for this collab.

Sheeran also shared his reaction to the chart topping news on Insta thanking each artist featured on the album.

This album is completely different from anything Sheeran has released in previous years. Artists are constantly evolving their music and changing their sound, just ask Ed’s buddy Taylor Swift. Swift transitioned from country to pop and her albums still climbed to the top of the charts, as did Sheeran’s. We are insanely proud of Ed and will be stans of his work until the day he stops making music. (Which we hope is never!) Let’s hope for some more fire collabs in the future.

Congratulations to Ed from everyone at Q99.7. Oh, and hear cuts from the new album all day today on Q99.7!
