Taco Bell Launches New Vegetarian Menu

So apparently the fast food industry is becoming more inclusive with what they are putting on their menus. Trying to cash in on those vegan and vegetarian coin, chains like Burger King announced the launch of their impossible whopper. Now, Taco Bell is coming to step on their necks with the new launch of their vegetarian menu.

Taco Bell has decided that the future of fast food is drifting towards those customers who are more health conscious so adding to their existing menu is mandatory. The menu is set to go up everywhere September 12.

New menu items will include: the black bean crunch wrap supreme and the black bean quesarito.

Other Vegetarian selections will be displayed underneath their new menu options called “Vegetarian Favorites.” These menu selections come after the company conducted a test earlier this year. Taco Bell also announced that consumers can expect to see a new advertising campaign to promote the new health-friendly menu. The vegetarian section of the menu will carry over a dozen items that will be labeled with a green logo to notate that these specific items are vegetarian/vegan.
