Jay-z is Celebrating his 50th Birthday by Putting His Albums On Spotify

Sean Carter, formally known as Jay-Z, is a rapper, song writer, producer, record executive, and entrepreneur, and he is celebrating his 50th birthday in a way most people would not expect.

According to Complex Magazine, Jay-Z is streaming his entire catalog on Spotify. That’s right people; for today (and maybe today only), you do not need to download Tidal to listen to the “Hard knock Life” rapper and the rest of his music. As we all know, the music mogul created his own streaming service Tidal, when it launched, he removed majority of his albums. The only ones left for streaming were Reasonable Doubt, In My Lifetime, Vol. 1 and Vol 2 and Hard Knock Life.

Right now for Hov’s birthday, he gifted his fans the ability to stream all their favorite albums like: The Black Album, American Gangster and Watch the Throne.

So far, there is no word on how long the music mogul will leave his music to stream on Spotify, so make sure you take a listen while you still can.

What a generous guy to give such an amazing gift on his day. I, for one, can honestly say I am personally excited and will be streaming the billionaire rapper all day. Happy 50th Birthday HOV!!
