3. Plaza Theatre
The Plaza Theatre opened in 1939 and is Atlanta’s oldest continually operating cinema. This theater plays smaller indie films, but it is a must see.

4. Starlight Six Drive In
Starlight is the popular Atlanta drive in movie theater. They have concessions you can purchase or you can bring your own food. They even have a flea market on the weekends!

5. AMC Phipps Plaza
This movie theater has a bar so you can take a drink into your movie and it offers a variety of food. They also have huge red leather reclining chairs that are super comfortable

6. Tara Theatre
This is an arthouse movie theatre located in the middle of Atlanta. It mostly screens independent films, and is one of the few theatres to do so.

7. Regal Atlantic Station
Atlantic Station is a great place to spend the day, because it has numerous restaurants and shops. It is also home to an awesome movie theatre that has plush seating and great food.
