Shawn Mendes is not problematic, but clearly that doesn\’t stop him from receiving so much undeserved backlash! Recently in an interview with \’Rolling Stone\’ magazine, Shawn opened up about how he deals with the criticism of people \”swearing on everything\” he\’s gay.

Honestly, I feel for him. I couldn\’t imagine after addressing to the world I\’m heterosexual, that years later I would still have to defend my sexuality on a consistent basis. Nobody deserves to be put through that at all. Glad to see so much love pouring out in his defense on social media!
