Berklee College of Music had a few honored guest during their graduation ceremony on Saturday (May 11.) Singer and songwriter, also formerly of NSYNC, Justin Timberlake and rapper, singer, and producer, Missy Elliott received an honorary degree at the college’s ceremony.
“This year’s honorary doctorate recipients are being recognized for their achievements and influences in music, and for their enduring global impact,” the school said in a local story on the school’s website.
During the ceremony, both Elliott and Timberlake shared inspiring and wonderful speeches for not just the graduating class but for everyone who is passionate about whatever it is they want.
Timberlake and Elliott both shared their exciting moment on Instagram following the ceremony.

Justin Timberlake went on to write a caption for his picture on Instagram, “No Dream is too big!!! Keep chasing!!! Trust me… I’m a DOCTOR.”
