“Señorita” has been on the rise since its release and fans are saying it is currently the sexiest summer song and we can agree. The collaboration track includes Shawn Mendes and Camila Cabello, and the songstress is full of gratitude and sentiment since it’s release.
Camila took to Instagram to share her appreciation to everyone involved, especially her collaborator, Shawn Mendes. She not only shared some shots of the behind the scenes of the music video but made sure to include shoutouts to everyone in her caption who helped with the amazing track. She include the video director, Dave Meyers, the choreographers, Calvit Hodge Jr. and Sara Biv, and acting coach, Anthony Meindl. However, the rawest and sweetest shoutout went to Mendes.
“You’ve been in my life for 5 years now and it’s a hell of a ride growing up together,” she wrote. “Thank you for always being being there for me and having my back, and also for saying funny sh*t during takes so it was impossible not to laugh. Everybody on here that loves you would only love you more if they really knew you.”
Cabello concluded her caption by shouting out her fans for supporting the new collaboration. “Thanks to the fans for being so excited!!! it’s so fun to see and we love you,” she concluded. “Señorita” is the second collaboration from the pair after their 2015 hit, “I Know What You Did Last Summer.”
The duo is continuing their adventure of summer highlight with a new digital cover of V Magazine, which also includes an interview with the two pop stars.
