In the later months of 2019, Miley Cyrus had to undergo surgery for her vocal cords after being diagnosed with tonsillitis, according to People.

Now, the pop star is in recovery mode after posting a video of some post-surgery vocal workouts.

Cyrus wrote, “No no no no no more wall squats vocal rehabilitation exercises! ( cool trick get another muscle to fire so your throat is distracted, it takes the pressure off your cords and doing this against a wall also helps keep the chin and neck parallel/ back so you have less strain and pull! ).”

She’s getting a workout in and healing her vocal cords at the same time. This is multitasking at its finest.

“Everything is so divine these days ( and ALWAYS. sometimes just harder to stay aware of the magic) I’m finding my vocal surgery at the end of last year to be a gift, made me take time to really hone my craft! Watch out!”
