In early March, during an Instagram Live, Doja Cat told her followers that she only had the flu, and “You just take some Mucinex (a cold and flu medication) and drink water and tea and sleep. That’s all you gotta do.”
Months later, after underestimating the coronavirus and claiming that she only had the “Flu.” Doja Cat came out and said that she did have the coronavirus.
Doja Cat told Capital XTRA that she was not sure how she acquired the virus, but she did recover and is healthy.
“I’m okay now,” she said. “It was a four-day symptom freakout, but I’m fine now.”
