RYAN REYNOLDS is offering a $5,000 reward for the return of a stolen TEDDY BEAR. But this isn’t just a cute thing he’s doing for a little kid who’s misplaced their toy.
A 28-year-old woman in Vancouver, British Columbia, named Mara Soriano lost the bear when a bag it was packed in with other valuables was stolen from outside of her U-haul.
The bear is IRREPLACEABLE, because it contains a voice recording that her mother made for her before she died of cancer.
Mara said, quote, “She had a recording on it that was specifically just for me that said she loved me, she was proud of me, and she’ll always be with me. I hugged it every time I missed her.”
The teddy bear is wearing a red and white dress . . . plus black frame glasses just like her mom did. She knows it was stolen, because there is security footage, where someone is seen grabbing the bag and walking away.
Ryan Tweeted, quote, “$5,000 to anyone who returns this bear to Mara. Zero questions asked. I think we all need this bear to come home.”
(Thankfully, she at least has this video of the recording.)
