Beyoncé marked the Fourth of July weekend with a surprise release for fans, sharing a previously unreleased song titled Morning Dew Donk.
The track arrived as part of a new countdown leading into the 20th anniversary of B’Day, her 2006 studio album. The countdown is set to run for 60 days and ends on September 4, 2026, a date that marks both the album’s anniversary and Beyoncé’s birthday.
Morning Dew Donk also came with a lyric video featuring archival footage shot by photographer Cliff Watts. The visual adds a nostalgic layer to the release, connecting the new track to the era that helped shape one of Beyoncé’s most recognizable album cycles.
The song credits include Beyoncé, Pharrell Williams, The-Dream, and Darius Dixson. Its arrival follows a busy stretch for Beyoncé, who recently expanded her country-influenced chapter with Cowboy Carter.
For the BeyHive, the release works as both a throwback and a fresh addition to the B’Day story, giving fans another reason to revisit one of the key albums in her catalog.
