Julia Roberts only did four days’ worth of work on the movie “Mother’s Day,” but guess how much they paid her? $3 MILLION. That’s $750,000 a day.
Julia set a record for actress’ salaries when she was paid $20 million for “Erin Brockovich,” and it still stands today. Of course, that movie made more than $125 million in the U.S. “Mother’s Day” opened this past weekend with just $8.3 million.
Julia was also in the 2010 flick “Valentine’s Day,” another romantic comedy with an ensemble cast and multiple storylines. It was even directed by the same guy, Gary Marshall. She was paid $3 million for that one, and she was onscreen for all of six minutes.
