There’s a live-action “Barbie” movie in the works, and it’ll star…Amy Schumer. Now, Amy does NOT look like your typical Barbie. Unsurprisingly, the fat-shaming began almost immediately after the announcement was made.
One jackass said, “More fat [effs] making the news. Amy Schumer as Barbie? The mental illness in Hollywood is mind-boggling.”

What these trolls don’t realize is that they purposely cast Amy because she’s NOT who you’d expect.
The movie starts off in a perfect land of Barbies, where Amy’s character begins to realize she doesn’t fit in. She’s eventually kicked out and journeys to the real world, where she discovers that it’s COOL to be different.
So way to go, haters.
