Katy Perry is back and it was everything we never knew we needed!
It’s been 2 years since Perry dropped her last solo music video and not only is her new single “Never Really Over” a hit but the music video is just as great as the song.
The music video was filmed near Malibu amd Katy Perry has switch from her short blonde pixie cut to long blonde hair in the video.
When announcing the track, Katy explained that the song explores the nature of friendships. “All of our relationships — from first love, through failed love, to great love — all become a part of you,” she says, “so that none are ever really over, and once you accept both the dark and the light, you may find that the darkness brought you to the light.”
Though we still have no information on whether or not she will be releasing a fourth solo album, we can very much jam to “Never Really Over” for now.
